Franco Frattini quotes

Franco Frattini was an Italian politician and diplomat, renowned for his roles in international relations and law. He served as Italy’s Foreign Minister and held prominent positions within the European Commission. He was recognized for his contributions to European cooperation and diplomacy. Here are 3 of his quotes:

[for indicted foreigners] simple expulsion is not enough (...) they must be arrested immediately, tried using a fast-track procedure, and then expelled to serve their sentences in the countries they came from, (...) it isn't right that foreign criminals are being housed in our [Italian] jails.
