Galeazzo Ciano was an Italian diplomat and politician, most famous as the son-in-law of Benito Mussolini. A prominent figure in Fascist Italy, he served as Minister of Foreign Affairs during much of World War II. He later opposed Mussolini, was arrested, and executed for treason.
