L. L. Zamenhof was a Polish-Jewish ophthalmologist and linguist, best known as the creator of Esperanto, the most widely spoken constructed international auxiliary language. His vision was to foster international understanding and peace through a neutral, easy-to-learn language. He dedicated much of his life to promoting Esperanto and inspired a global movement for linguistic unity. Here are 4 of his quotes:
