The Sphinx, and of course the Pyramid, were connected with the Ancient Mysteries, the Mysteries of initiation, for initiation and the Mystery Schools go back to Atlantean times. The process of initiation was instituted in mid-Atlantean times, and the remains in Egypt, South America - Mexico and Peru - and also in Chaldea and Babylon, relate to these ancient civilizations.
