Only Jesus would be crazy enough to suggest that if you want to become the greatest, you should become the least. Only Jesus would declare God's blessing on the po0r rather than on the rich and would insist that it's not enough to just love your friends. Jesus told His disciples all about the tribulation they WOULD have to endure and NONE of them ran off to a cabin in the woods and began gathering food and ammunition! They ALL went out to win souls like crazy! They understood full well about the "prize” offered to those who endured to the end!

As we get rich, the basics of life--food, clothing and shelter--become a very small part of total expenditure. Editing should be, especially in the case of old writers, a counseling rather than a collaborating task. The tendency of the writer-editor to collaborate is natural, but he should say to himself, ''How can I help this writer to say it better in his own style'' and avoid ''How can I show him how I would write it, if it were my piece''
