Well, I'd say, and this is probably a change from what I would have said when I was younger: Have a very healthy respect for the study of economic history, because that's the raw material out of which any of your conjectures or testings will come. And I think the recent period has illustrated that. The governor of the Bank of England seems to have forgotten or not known that there was no bank insurance in England, so when Northern Rock got a run, he was surprised. Well, he shouldn't have been. But history doesn't tell its own story. You've got to bring to it all the statistical testings that are possible. And we have a lot more information now than we used to.

The director is either denying the strength of his material or trying to defuse it by pretending it's all part of a campy in-joke. ... What's worse? Slapping somebody around, or standing back and finding the whole thing funny?

I believe his persecution of the Jews was Satan's trial run for the end time events coming upon us soon including the 3½ years of "great tribulation” (4D). Hitler's method of getting Germans to hate and then kill the Jews should be studied carefully. I am convinced similar methods will be used to bring persecution against any who will not go along with Satan's plans for his New World Order, especially Christians and anyone else who won't take the mark (Revelation 13-14).
